Unprecedented Tension in Ukraine Crisis: Russian Strategic Forces Commander Calls for Retaliatory Strike

Moscow-Sources close to the Russian military have reported that General Sergey Karakaev, Commander of Russia’s Strategic Forces, along with his deputy, has urged President Vladimir Putin to authorize an immediate retaliatory strike. In a message to the Kremlin, they reportedly stated: “All targets are locked. Our enemies are marked. Just give the order.”

Weezharoz-The request comes in the wake of Ukraine’s high-profile and unprecedented “Spider Web” operation, which reportedly destroyed over 40 Russian military aircraft, including strategic bombers Tu-95, Tu-22M, and A-50 reconnaissance planes deep inside Russian territory.

Ukraine claims the covert operation, planned over 18 months, involved smuggling FPV drones into Russia and launching them from concealed mobile platforms.

The targeted airbases included sites in Irkutsk, Ryazan, Ivanovo, and Murmansk some as far as 4,000 km from Ukraine’s border.

Ukrainian sources estimate the strikes inflicted over $2 billion in damages on Russia’s air force.

Simultaneously, explosions were reported on key rail bridges in the Kursk and Bryansk regions, disrupting vital infrastructure.

These developments come just ahead of proposed peace talks in Istanbul, where Ukraine is demanding a full ceasefire, the release of prisoners of war, and the return of abducted children.

However, the aggressive stance of Russia’s top military commanders signals a dangerous escalation, with the potential to push the conflict into an even more volatile and unpredictable phase.
