Acting Afghan Ambassador in Tehran Meets Nigerien Envoy: Emphasis on Strengthening Bilateral Relations

Tehran– On Wednesday, April 23, 2025, Mawlawi Fazl Mohammad Haqqani, the Acting Ambassador of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Tehran, held an introductory meeting with Seydou Zataou Ali, the Ambassador of the Republic of Niger to Iran and the proposed non-resident ambassador to Afghanistan.

Weezharoz-The meeting took place at the Afghan Embassy in Tehran, where both parties discussed avenues for enhancing bilateral relations, expanding diplomatic cooperation, and increasing engagement between Afghanistan and the Republic of Niger.

Mawlawi Haqqani underscored the importance of fostering friendly relations among Islamic nations and expressed Afghanistan’s readiness to strengthen bilateral ties with Niger.

Ambassador Ali conveyed his appreciation for the meeting and reiterated Niger’s commitment to elevating relations with Afghanistan across various sectors.

He highlighted the pivotal role of diplomatic interactions in bolstering international cooperation.

This meeting signifies a step forward in deepening the relationship between Afghanistan and the Republic of Niger, reflecting mutual efforts to enhance regional and international collaboration.
