Emphasis on Strengthening Bilateral Cooperation in Meeting Between Afghan Deputy Foreign Minister and Chinese Ambassador
Kabul– In an official meeting, Dr. Mohammad Naeem, Deputy Minister for Finance and Administration at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan, met with Zhao Xing, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in Kabul.
Weezharoz-During the discussion, both sides emphasized the importance of enhancing political, economic, and cultural relations between the two countries and called for joint efforts to expand cooperation.
Dr. Naeem expressed gratitude for China’s humanitarian assistance, especially in support of Afghan refugees, and welcomed China’s invitation for Afghan delegations to attend the upcoming Shanghai meetings.
He also highlighted the importance of maintaining good neighborly relations and acknowledged China’s role in Afghanistan’s development.
Ambassador Zhao Xing reaffirmed that as a neighboring country, China attaches special value to strengthening and expanding ties with Afghanistan and reiterated his country’s support for Afghanistan’s political and economic progress.
This meeting reflects the commitment of both nations to fostering closer bilateral relations and promoting regional cooperation.
