Pakistani security forces, in a large-scale and coordinated operation, foiled five simultaneous terrorist attacks in various areas of Balochistan city and killed 14 attackers in armed clashes. The operation, which took place this morning across several key fronts, prevented terrorist groups' plans to create instability ahead of national events.

We will continue to fight until the complete eradication of terrorism.”

Balochistan has witnessed an increase in attacks by groups like the Baloch Liberation Army (BLF) and local ISIS factions in recent months.

This large-scale operation was part of the central government’s “Peaceful Dawn” security plan to protect China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) infrastructure projects.

Security forces have also heightened alertness along the borders with Iran and Afghanistan.

Analysts warn that terrorism might escalate with retaliatory attacks targeting civilian areas.
