Supreme Court of Afghanistan: First Day of Ramadan Announced
Supreme Court of Afghanistan has announced that, based on the testimonies of witnesses from the committees in Ghazni, Kandahar, Kabul, Faryab, Paktia, and Zabul provinces, the first day of the blessed month ofRamadan will be tomorrow, Saturday.
Weezha Roz-Kabul-The Supreme Court also added that several citizens have confirmed the sighting of the moon, further validating the announcement.
The court emphasized that, based on these testimonies and evidence, tomorrow, Saturday, the 11th of Hoot, will be the first day of the holy month of Ramadan in Afghanistan.
This announcement reflects the adherence to Sharia principles and the Islamic calendar, encouraging unity and cooperation from the people to respect the laws of the moon sighting committees.
