18 Injured in Four Traffic Accidents in a Single Day in Paktia Province

Weezha Roz-In a single day, four traffic accidents occurred in different areas of Paktia Province, resulting in 18 injuries.

These incidents highlight the alarming increase in road insecurity and the urgent need to address traffic safety.

Local authorities in Paktia Province provided details of the accidents:

First Incident: Gardez-Khost Highway in Gulga Area:
On Friday, a traffic accident occurred on the Gardez-Khost highway in the center of Paktia, leaving at least five people injured.

According to reports, the injured were transported to the regional hospital in Paktia with the assistance of security forces.

Second Incident: Stu Kandu Area:
A traffic accident was also reported in the Stu Kandu area.

Fortunately, there were no fatalities, but the vehicles involved sustained financial damages.

This incident underscores the need to raise driver awareness and improve road conditions to prevent similar occurrences.

Third Incident: Ahmadabad District:
In Ahmadabad District, around 2:00 PM on Friday, a traffic accident between a Corolla and a Toyota vehicle resulted in three injuries.

The injured were taken to medical centers and are receiving care. The cause of the accident may have been speeding, driver negligence, or vehicle defects.

Fourth Incident: Gulga Area, Shawak District:
In the Gulga area of Shawak District, a traffic accident between a Toyota and a Passo vehicle left eight people injured.

Local authorities stated that this was one of the most serious accidents on Friday and requires further investigation.

The injured were transported to medical centers, and their condition is being monitored.
