The death toll from the earthquake in Turkey and Syria exceeded 15,000

According to external media reports, the number of victims of the recent earthquake in Turkey and Syria reached 15,383.
According to these reports, the latest statistics show that in Turkey, three thousand people have increased in the last few hours and it has reached 12 thousand 391 people.
In Syria, at least 2,992 people have lost their lives.
Also, more than 50,000 people have been injured and thousands of buildings have been destroyed in Turkey.
Officials have announced that due to the effect of the cold weather on the relief situation, there is a possibility of an increase in the number of victims.
This is while yesterday (Wednesday, December 19) Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan went to the earthquake affected areas and met and talked with the people.
In this regard, the President of Turkey admitted that there were problems in his government’s initial response to the devastating earthquake in southern Turkey.
He further promised that no one will be left homeless.
